The Extended Slide Catch is one of those upgrades that is immediately noticeable. With this upgrade, how do I say this without sounding like capt. obvious here, when you push your thumb up to actuate the catch, there’s an easily distinguishable difference in the amount of time it takes to complete the slide locking process. I mean we’re probably splitting hairs here, but it’s enough hairs for me to give it 5stars. It’s also a two-fer because it has enhances the stock performance of one of the firearm’s functions and it’s shiny. I would rate this as #2 on the list of form&function or bang4buck upgrades for those trying to figure out which RC part to get first. #1 on that list, in my opinion should the ExtMagRelease, which ironically will end up being the last part I will have upgraded, because the ExtMagRelease is probably the most used part out of all them. So for that reason you’re getting your getting the best bang for your buck. But who really cares, if you’re here on this site for enhancing the look of your firearm, I can promise you that even if you purchase blems, RC is THE QUALITY you’re looking for. All parts are OEM fit as well. Basically Range Candy is the place where you discover how much you regret having tried any other manufacturer first. But hey, you don’t have to take my word for it.

Beautiful finish and perfect fit. Definitely not a high polish. This is the look I was going for on this build, and initially went with a brushed nickel coating which was botched and ended up with nickel chrome. I then bought the polished silver extended slide catch here only to realize it was not chrome and was the look I was looking for from the beginning.

Polished Silver is not polished, Looks exactly like the nickel coating you would receive from the Sig Sauer nickel parts kit. No shine to these parts whatsoever.

Bought several parts all in gold to dress up the p365. I have to say they look amazing. The gold is a deeper richer color like the real gold chains my uncle Benny wears. I also have parts from other companies in gold for another gun and they don’t match or look as good as Sig Candy. Very impressed with the quality. I have a few more parts to go before I build it so far what I have bought is top notch.
